Bonus Project * May be updated with more suff later. Details subject to change * - As announced in the class meeting on March 30, and in the email I sent this past Sunday evening, You can do an extra project that is based on C or Assembly, is relevant to this class, and can explain to me what you did on a meeting with me on Teams, and can answer questions about it, you can earn some bonus points. - How much bonus? It'll depend on what you do. It should be relevant to this class. You can either expand on something we did in this class, or look into something that's related to Systems Programming that we've not covered in this class. Roughly speaking, anything that could be equivalent to a homework assignment would be worth that amount of points. bigger projects may be worth more, smaller projects will be worth less. - Requirements: 1. Should be in either C or Assembly 2. Must be your OWN work. You shouldn't just lift somebody's code off the internet, as that is considered cheating. 3. You need to be able to explain what you did in a meeting with me on Teams, and answer questions about it. So make sure you thoroughly understand what you did before we meet. 4. This is a solo effort, not a group project. - Submissions: - Submission method: Using handin on the CS server. > handin -C bonus Put all your files there and then submit them the usual way once finished. Edit the README with a brief description of what you did. - Due dates: - If you are thinking about doing a bonus project, prefer you let me know by April 10, just so I have an idea how many people will be doing this. - Have something submitted by April 22-ish (the Saturday before Study Week), we will then work out a time where we meet over Teams to discuss your submission.
