Something cool about CS, something you can do with CS...
Or, is there a problem in the book you'd like to talk about?
Still working on getting quizzes working the right way, in the meantime I put a "Practice from Quizzes" that I'll put all the quiz questions so far into.
New homework due next week.
Remember that homework is now due before class on Wednesday rather than Tuesday midnight.
Remember to check your indstate.edu email or have it forwarded to something you do check - so you will get announcements/updates when needed.
First homework counts for half?
Go through the first problem from the homework assignment and show what the errors are, how we might find them.
More examples of something interesting... (swapping colors, brightening/darkening, graying an image, making a negative)
And go through how the for loop actually happens (review from last time, maybe in more detail though), what an "array" is.
Sample code from this lecture and last lectures online.
For next time - more about for loops, mirroring pictures.
And make sure to take the quiz, and type things into JES to try them out!
