I will pick a handful of programming tasks for you to study, and you'll need to be able to create these programs during a video chat, and make modifications to them. Stay tuned. Basic idea is - you should somewhat competent with linux and python, and if you only focus on one thing for the rest of the semester that is the goal. The programming tasks will be all on the order of difficulty of those listed at https://cs.indstate.edu/wiki/index.php/Programming_Assignments_-_Beginning_1 - If you make an effort you will be okay to get an S. Just stay in touch. - You do NOT need to decide this now. You are supposed to be relieved that if nothing else you can pass this course if you want to. C grade - If your grade is at least at the C level, then you get at least a C. - If you get at least a C on the final exam, then you get at least a C. - If you are close towards the end we'll make up a plan so it is clear what you need to do. - If you are still interested in computer science, you want to get at least a C. Final exam or Final project - You will be able to choose either or both to complete HWs, quizzes, attendance - For all of these, I'll drop the lowest Bonus points - Schedule a time to talk with me. Pick a time that works (not March 30) from https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/ComputerScience@sycamoresindstate.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/ and sign up for it. I'll count it as +2 HW and +5 quiz points. - Use the CS Online Lab.
