This page contains some shortcuts when using a Mac.

Powerpoint

For the powerpoint desktop application...

  • superscript: shift-control-+
  • subscript: control-command-+
  • zoom in: control-command-+
  • zoom out: control-command--
  • middle dot (for multiplication): option-shift-9
  • insert math equation: click Insert on the menu bar, then Equation.

Note: to turn off many of powerpoint's auto-fix options, go to the menubar, Powerpoint, Preferences, and look under Proofing and AutoCorrect.
