* The Practice Midterm is now available on Blackboard for the 301 Students. The 
  real midterm will look similar to this. A PDF copy of the fake midterm will 
  also be available on the class website.

  For this practice midterm, multiple attempts are allowed, it is not timed, you 
  can leave and finish it later if you so desire. 

  This fake midterm will be due on October 7 at 11:59PM. If you submit a fake 
  midterm by then, and I can see that you at least tried to do the problems, 
  I'll give you a 10/10.

  The in-person students with Dr. Sternfeld took the fake midterm today. 

* The real midterm will be made available on October 7. The in-person students 
  must take it then, unless you make other arrangements with Dr. Sternfeld. 

  For the Online Students, this exam will be made available on Blackboard on 
  that same date. This online exam will be timed (probably 75 minutes), and you 
  will have to complete it in one sitting as well. Plan on that being due on or 
  around October 14 at 11:59PM. 

* There is no recorded lecture for September 30, as we spent the entire class 
  taking the fake midterm.
 
* The Online Office Hour for this week will be tonight from 8 to 9PM EDT. I will
  talk about this fake midterm as well as some hints on h5, and maybe some other 
  stuff as well.

* Reminder that h5 will be due on October 5 at 11:59PM

* h4 is now past due. I hope to be finished grading this assignment by the 
  weekend. If you haven't submitted your assignment yet or if you want to fix
  mistakes and resubmit, do so by the end of the day on Friday, and I won't hit 
  you with a late penalty. After that, I will hit you with a late penalty.

* Quiz 2 Retakes can still be done through the end of Sunday. If you'd like a 
  higher grade on Quiz 2, please take this.
