Instructions for Checking-In

Note: This applies to the Section 301 (Online) students only. If you are 
enrolled in Section 002 (Dr. Sternfeld's section) this does not apply to you.

You will be checking in with me at least once a week. This is just to make sure 
that you are making progress in the class. When checking in, just let me know 
how things are going with the class, and if you have any questions/concerns 
about this class.

NOTE: Here, a week is defined as from the start of the day on Sunday to the
      end of the day on Saturday.

You can check in one the following three ways.

1. Come in during my Lab Hours, you can either join my lab via Zoom, or come
   see me at the Unix Lab at Room A015 in the basement of Root Hall.

   My Lab Hours are as follows (in Eastern Time): 
   MWF 1PM - 2PM, 3PM - 4PM 
   TR  11AM - 12PM


2. Come in during my Open Office Hour via Zoom, this usually takes place on 
   Thursdays from 7-8PM Eastern.

3. If neither of those work, you can send an email (preferably from your ISU
   email) to jcompton5@sycamores.indstate.edu. Make sure to make your
   subject "CS256-301: Check In".

However you do it, you must do this once a week, this is a part of your overall
class grade.
