- Online through canvas
- Make sure you have a 2 hour block of time available
- I will set the time after I have finalized the exam and taken it myself
- Open notes and internet, NOT open "other people"
- Do not discuss with anyone else in the class after you have taken it
- There will be NO makeup exams. If you don't take it then it is a 0
- I will release the solutions on Friday
- No class on Thursday as you will be taking the exam. I will be
available in my office and on Teams for questions.

Other questions on mid-term?

Note well - Jeff's rule for the final exam
- If final exam is better than mid-term then the final replaces the mid-term
- If you pass the final exam you pass the class
- So focus on knowing the content and gaining the skills, the grade
should work out by the end if you are doing what you are supposed to
  - Do assigned reading (including man pages) before or right after we
    discuss them in class
  - Start assignments when they are assigned, ask me to check problems/programs
as you finish them, ask questions in class if you are not sure
how to start or how to get around a bug, etc.
  - Study for quizzes - go through all of the reading again, go through the
HW and quiz solutions, practice using all of the commands and typing
    in the bash scripts

q6 over processes
- solutions
- has been graded, ask me if you think you got something right that is marked wrong
- difference between fork (process) and clone (thread)
- lowest possible process priority is -20, fix that in the grades

h5
- still needs to be graded

h6
- solutions
- still needs to be graded

Studying
- Previous HW submissions - if you don't know why yours is wrong, ask.
