Extend one of the previous assignments, you make a proposal, counts out of 0 so just bonus HW points.  Will call it 20 points, but more likely will be awarding 5-10 points.  This is in lieu of a final project.   

Or, you take a topic from the syllabus that we did not get to and you do a presentation on it for the class (Thursday Dec 2, or final exam slot Dec 7).  Potential topics: routing (BGP), SMTP, unix domain sockets / pipes / socketpairs, threads / exec/fork / shared memory, you name it (e.g., from UC Berkeley course)
