Building and Faculty Offices
Computer Science is part of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in Root Hall (424 N 7th St, Terre Haute, IN 47809-1928). A schematic of room numbers is below. CS faculty and GAs are in the southwest wing of the building in offices A-141 - A-142, A-178 - A-186 / A-165 - A-168. See ISU CS People for room numbers of CS faculty, staff, and GAs.

Lab Classrooms
Most CS courses are taught in the basement of Root Hall in rooms A-017 and A-019, which are both lab classrooms with 36 seats each and a Linux PC at each seat. CS machines are all connected to the CS network and are professionally managed by our Lab/Server Coordinator.

Unix Lab and Tutoring
Room A-015 in the basement, the so-called "Unix Lab", is a small computer lab that is open most business hours for students to work on assignments, seek tutoring help, or just hang out. You can see who is on duty off the CS main page, and see CS Labs for the schedule of the lab and information about tutoring. The student ACM club normally meets in the Unix lab.
